Environmental Regulations
Corporations and municipalities spend thousands, sometimes millions, of dollars annually to organize and manage environmental data required by environmental regulations at the federal, State and local levels. The requirements of these regulations can be complicated and confusing -- In some instances (but not all) state regulatory agencies and departments have been delegated the authority to administer federal environmental regulations in specific mediums (e.g., air, water, waste, etc.). Still, each state maintains its own set of regulatory requirements, permit and reporting formats, and chemical emission/effluent levels. Enverity builds software applications that focus on any and all environmental regulations based upon the clients needs.
Typically, regulated entities must adhere to the most stringent regulation pertaining to a particular medium in any given location - sometimes the state or local regulations may be considered more stringent than the federal regulations.
Environmental regulations are dynamic; constantly changing with different political administrations and improved scientific data. Keeping up with the changes can be an onerous task for the regulated community.
